Description - Description: HIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISTION REGULATION (FAR) 5.2 "SYNOPSIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTIONS." U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contrac t with Pacific Power Group, LLC, for Survey Vessel Elton MTU Engines Maintenance. SV Elton's home port is in Portland Oregon. The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source. The Survey Vessel Redlinger is equipped with two (2) MTU Series 60 Main Propulsion Engines which require annual preventative maintenance that must be performed at scheduled hourly
