Description - Description: As part of a European CETP-funded project (called CHASE) to investigate the combination of a high-temperature heat pump with a thermal storage for flexible steam provision, a latent heat storage is required. The storage tank should be ma nufactured with a double pipe register, as two different heat transfer media are used in the circuits, and the pressure level, mass flows and purity of the circuits are also different. The storage itself contains a phase change material that changes its state from solid to liquid and from liquid to solid during loading and unloading.
