Description - Description: As part of the cross-border Life project Crossborderbog, the reverse of the Aamsveen in the Netherlands and the bitch moor (Figure 1) is to be promoted on the Deut-Scher side. The project is the province of Overijssel, while the implemen tation on the German side by the Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport North Rhine-Westphalia (Munv NRW), the Biological Station Zwillbrock e.V. and the Nature and Landscape of Westmünsterland takes place. The German project area is part of the Natura 2000 area "Office Venn and Bündfelder Moor". Central measures include the system of dams, the removal of trees and the lifting of the groundwater level below the bog. The
