Description - Description: 1.4 BackgroundThe City is in the process of implementing a source separated organic waste program and is transitioning to automated cart-based collection of garbage and organic waste. The City plans to initiate the launch of automated ca rt-based collection starting with delivery of carts for garbage to approximately 10,000 Curbside Residential Properties in the fall of 2025.
