Description - Description: Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) stores all digitised permanent records for the Victorian State Government. Hitachi Digital Archive Storage appliances are the critical components of the HCP. In late 2023, 2 nodes of storage were purchased to add to the existing 8 to increase the capacity and capability of the system. The 2 nodes were the same version as the original 8. At the time, although the new nodes were an older version than was currently available, the 2 nodes matched the system version and provided a cost effective to solution to replacing the whole system. This new full set of nodes will be the latest Hitachi version and will replace all of the nodes within the platform.
