Description - Description: Through this assignment, the contracting authority wishes to restore the European protected dune habitats along the Belgian east coast in the context of the DUNIAS project. In dune areas owned and/or managed by ANB and partners, the desi gnated plant-based invasive exotic species must be removed/treated. Ruffle roses (Rosa Rugosa), Mahogany (Mahonia aquifolium) and other non-native shrubs must be carefully and systematically ringed, pulled out, sieved out or chemically controlled. During implementation, special attention must be paid to limiting regrowth from root parts by removing all plant parts as much as possible.
