Description - Description: The City Management cluster, Clean City department, of the Municipality of Rotterdam, Contracting Authority, has a tender for the digital inspection of (litter) waste. In 2022, the Contracting Authority carried out a Proof of Concept (Po C) in which photos of the outdoor space were taken in collaboration with a contractor. These photos were then sent to the servers of the Contracting Authority. The Contracting Authority had developed an algorithm that can recognize litter in outdoor areas in the photos.
