As part of the Life Delta project (Natuurpunt with partners VMM, ANB and RLHV), an extra hiking trail will be opened in Schulensbroek that makes a connection through the walking bridge between the village centers of Halen and Donk (Herk de Stad) with the Schulensmeer visitor center.
