Description - Description: In the following decades we are heading for a significant warming up of the average annual temperature, with an associated increase in weather extremes. Climate change is much faster than forests can adjust itself. One of the measures to make forests more resilient against climate change is to increase the number of tree species. We do this by planting "Kloempen" in existing forests - a Kloemp is a group of 25 plants of the same tree species that are planted close together. The most vital tree wins the competition and later, if appropriate management, grows into a healthy adult "future tree". - By planting those clamping pen in existing forests, "under the screen" of the Kronend
