Description - The City of White Rock is seeking professional engineering consulting services and project management services to assist the City to convert existing HPS street lights fixtures with light-emitting diodes (LEDs). By replacing these with energy-efficie nt light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to ensure compliance with new federal regulations that require all light ballasts containing Poly-Chlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) be removed by the end of 2025.City’s street lights are switching to LEDs for much the same reason that people choose LEDs for their homes: they use far less energy, are more reliable, last longer, and are more sustainable.
