Description - Description: Walker Lines Gymnasium in Bodmin, Cornwall was set up in 2012 as both a charity and a company limited by guarantee to purchase the Walker Lines Gymnasium from Bodmin Town Council to own and manage on behalf of the community. The building has since been rebranded as the SHED.The gym was built in 1941 by the British army as a recreational facility for Bodmin barracks. It had a distinguished military history which was recognised this year by a blue plaque. It was mothballed in 1956 and sold to the town council in 1962 since when it has operated as a community centre managed by its users.
