Description - Description: The County Administrative Board procures the field sampling service for suspected pollution damage related to PFAS as well as verifying sampling of contaminated sediment. The project is financed by government grants from the Swedish Envi ronmental Protection Agency and in the years 2024-2025 the County Administrative Board has been granted funds for the investigation of 35 PFAS-contaminated areas and 20 contaminated sediment areas.The goal of field investigation of both PFAS and sediment is to obtain information on the presence of contamination (detect contamination).
