Description - PWN intends to apply UV technology for the 'post-disinfection' purification step at the Wim Mensink drinking water production location in Wijk aan Zee. PWN had a preliminary design made by engineering firm Sweco. PWN is currently faced with the decis ion of how to continue this project. The following 2 options are being considered: - Drafting design and specifications by an engineering firm and then selecting the executive contractor(s) via a tender; execution. The execution of the work mainly concerns: underground infrastructure, construction, mechanical engineering and electricity / instrumentation. Process automation is carried out in-house.
