Description - The work under this project consists of replacing two existing Siemens soft-starters with OWNER-supplied variable frequency drives (VFD) for High Service Pumps (HSP) 5 & 6 at the East Water Treatment Plant (EWTP) as per the supplied engineering drawi ng and technical specifications. Remove existing HSP 5 & 6 Reduced Voltage Soft Start panels in the existing electrical room and install new VFDs in their place. Install new power and control cables from the HSP pumps 5 & 6 to the new VFDs. Existing conduits will be utilized for routing power and control cables from HSP 5 & 6 motors to the new VFDs.
