Description - This is a preliminary announcement about upcoming procurement. On behalf of the Regional Collective Traffic Authority in Västra Götaland (RKM), Västtrafik AB intends to procure train traffic starting in 2025 under the name "Train 2025 Västtågen" . Planned to be included are commuter train lines and regional lines in Western Sweden. The procurement will take place on the condition that a decision on public transport obligations is made by RKM. The decision will be preceded by consultation with stakeholders. Västtrafik intends to start the tendering process in the summer/autumn of 2023. The traffic currently includes a total of 113 scheduled vehicles and approximately 20.2 million journey
