Description - Description: Joint contracting Authorities, National Transport Authority and Transport Infrastructure Ireland. Luas is Dublins light rail system and consists of two separate lines, the Red Line and the Green Line. The system comprises 42.5 kilometers of track, three maintenance depots, 67 stops and a fleet of 81 light rail vehicles. Luas carried 48.2 million passenger journeys in 2023. Further expansion of the system is anticipated. A more detailed description of the Luas system is given in Appendix A of the IMPQQ Document.
