Description - Description In UMER Varna sites (including the Varna Department and the Dobrich Department) - in electrical substations and the groups for maintenance and repair of high voltage (HV) power lines, personal protective equipment and means of collective protection, collectively called "electrical protective equipment" (PPE) are used , as follows: dielectric gloves; dielectric boots and high voltage boots; insulating bars from 6 to 110 kV; insulating bars for placing portable earthing devices from 6 to 400 kV; insulating clamps up to 35 kV; voltage indicators from 6 to 400 kV - contact and non-contact.The contracting authority envisages periodic testing of the means of protection used in the site
