Description - The Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit FCCU at Bapco Refinery uses fine powdered catalyst to convert low value heavy oil into lighter more valuable products The circulating catalyst inventory is called equilibrium catalyst or ecat E cat is routinely unloa ded from the FCCU as part of normal operation and stored in big bags It must be disposed of in an environmentally acceptable way in accordance with Bapco Refining EHS requirements and national and international laws
