Description - The scope of the contract is two magnetic shields for heating neutral beam 1 and 2. Each magnetic shield consists of a passive magnetic shield (PMS — Passive Magnetic Shield) (600 ton carbon steel structure) and an active correction and compensatio n coil (ACCC — Active Correction and Compensation Coil). (8-magnets). It surrounds the neutral beam receptacle and the high voltage bushing. Its function is to shield the beam from the magnetic scattering field of the ITER tokamak, and it is not a vacuum barrier.
