Description - Description: The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in Teddington wishes to engage with the supply chain who supply and install RF cables and bespoke fibre optic cables including single-mode polarisation-maintaining and hollow core.NPL is constructin g 4 underground ducts, c. 800m in length and 6m below ground, between the north and south ends of its Teddington Campus. Approximately 50 fibre optic cables and 50 RF cables are required. The work will be let as a two-stage NEC4 design and build contract. During the design phase the contractor will work with NPL scientists to agree the design and specification for the Fibre Optic cables and with the tunnelling contractor to ensure that the ducts
