Description - REGION 4 STREAM HABITAT, HYDROLOGY, DIVERSION SURVEY, DESIGN, MONITORING, ANALYSIS AND REPORTING SERVICES Forests in the Intermountain Region have become active in addressing aquatic habitat degradation resulting from water diversions and road/stream crossings. To address these effects, the Forest Service must conduct environmental analysis and disclose effects to the public as well as the regulatory agencies such as National Marine Fisheries Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Idaho Department of Water Resources, and the Army Corps of Engineers.
