Description - Description The intended research aims to apply biomaterials and microfluidics to create an extracellular microenvironment-biomimicking platform for real-time microscopy observation for mechanistic studies of cell-matrix interactions in tissue and di sease development. The research team has compared various microscopy options and determined that a Spinning Disk Confocal Microscope (SDCM) with a temperature- and humidity-controlled chamber is the most suitable microscopy for the proposed research.
