Description - Description: The contractor must start snow clearing activities when 8cm (Eight) of snow has accumulated or when deemed necessary by the Departmental Representative.The contractor must remove snow and use contractor provided materials for ice control by the application of salt, a mixture of sand and salt, or ice melt to prevent slippery conditions on all locations indicated on Appendix A – Site information. All pathways and areas around fire hydrants must be kept clear and accessible.Parking lot(s) must be cleared of snow by 0700hrs daily, and must be kept clear of snow, as identified under the scope of work, in a timely manner to facilitate both shift and day workers as applicable.General
