Description - The municipality of Zaanstad wishes to conclude an agreement for grazing by sheep. The objectives of the assignment are: - Increasing biodiversity through an ecological connection between areas where genetic exchange of plant species can take place; - Control of Japanese knotweed, hogweed and burdock; - Increase the amenity of public green spaces. The municipality of Zaanstad intends to introduce sheep grazing in the various sub-areas within Zaanstad.
