INTRODUCTION Invest India a joint venture between the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) Ministry of Commerce and Industry Govt of India, Industry Associations and State Governments of India, operationalized in early 2010, Invest India has been set up as the dedicated investment promotion and facilitation agency for attracting investments into the country in a structured, focused, and comprehensive manner. Invest India is the first point of reference for foreign investors, and investment promotion and facilitation constitute the core mandate of the Agency. Its services include providing quality input and support services to Indian and overseas enterprises through granulated, sector and state-specific information, assistance with location identification, expedition of regulatory approvals, facilitation of meetings with relevant government officials, organization of investment road shows and roundtables, and aftercare services that include initiating remedial action on problems faced by investors by involving the government department concerned. 2. OVERVIEW OF THE PROJECT AND BRIEF OF WORK Global Investors Conference a. Invest India on behalf of Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry Govt of India is organizing a Global Investor Conference scheduled on March 4th, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The conference aims to bring together the leaders from the world's Top 100 institutional investors. The Global Investor Conference is pitched at the highest level of private public partnership, and it shall channelize efforts on priority sectors and investible opportunities for global investors. The conference is also aimed at strengthening India's position as an attractive investment destination based on growth, opportunities, returns and ease of doing business. b. The event is a one-day conference. This will also include an exclusive and ‘by invitation’ Roundtable of the Top 20-25 executives with the High-level government officials/dignitaries to enable an open discussion between the investors and the Government on national priorities, vision, challenges, and way forward. The event will end with a celebratory function to include cultural cum sound and light show incorporating niche technology including and not exhaustive such as holographic and projection mapping etc. to showcase best of product, services, and technology with the underlying pitch of vast opportunities that India can offer to potential investors. c. This summit holds strategic importance in fostering international investments and collaborations, and we are seeking a dynamic and innovative partner to contribute to the success of this strategic event. |
