Description - Description The project is the improvement of a stretch of road of approx. 1.1 km on rv. 41 just south of the town of Herefoss, past Slettene on the section Askeåna - Smedbakken in Birkenes municipality. The project includes improvement of the exist ing road to a width of 7.5 m and geometry requirements in accordance with current road standards. The new road route mainly follows the current route. A garage at the exit to Slettene Hage is to be removed. The work will also consist of blasting, rock protection, mass removal, felling, terrain grading, laying of pipes, drainage pipes and gutters, asphalt work, natural stone masonry and railing work.
