Description - Description: In the course of the IGA 2027, the city of Waltrop plans to expand a cycle and footpath - connection along the Dortmund - EMS - channel inA length of approx. 4.3 km between the ship's liftHenrichenburg (station 0+000) and Viktorstraße ( station 4+395.168) in Waltrop. The services include the work and deliveries for the preparation of the Route Vital along the Dortmund Ems Canal in Waltrop. The route is mainly used as a foot and cycle path as a operating route for the WSA. The construction site area is located along the Dortmund-Ems Canal in Waltrop. The planned route is mainly in a dam location with embankments and partly sheet piling. Only a small section is in a flat location.
