Request for Proposal of capturing stories from the field A. Background: MAMTA Health Institute for Mother and Child (MAMTA-HIMC) is an internationally recognized, national-level NGO, established in December 1990. MAMTA (HIMC) is today represented in 18 States of India and has also extended its reach beyond national borders to Nepal, Bangladesh, and Burundi in East Africa. It is a pioneering organization working in the area of livelihood, entrepreneurship, Maternal and Child Health (MCH); Sexual and Reproductive and Sexual Health (SRH); and HIV & AIDS and Non-Communicable Diseases. A community-based project is implemented in various locations in India. We invite quotations from agencies or professionals for capturing 10-12 high-impact stories from the field with good photographs (High-resolution pics). The agency/professional should use a camera like Sony A7III / Canon / similar, Sony / Similar for photo documentation of the stories. The documentation process will involve a field visit to Valsad, Uttar Pradesh. B. Scope of Service Broadly, the assignment shall include the following activities: Developing the at least 10 case stories of the beneficiaries while talking to them Shooting the story Sharing the edited final versions with MAMTA Sharing the photographs C. Eligibility Criteria MAMTA invites agencies/professionals with expertise in developing stories of humans for the social sector with a minimum experience of at least 2-3 years in the health, nutrition and livelihood sector. D. Deliverables/Outputs 1. First draft of the case stories 2. Final edited stories in the required formats 3. High-resolution photos E. PROPOSAL SUBMISSION The Agency shall submit Technical and Financial proposals separately for this assignment by March 1, 2024. The Agency will provide a detailed cost breakup for each of the activities mentioned above. The costs should be inclusive of all taxes and out-of-pocket expenses. F. OTHER TERMS The Agencies shall submit their proposals at their own cost and risk and MAMTA shall not make any payments towards the same. The Agency shall carry out the scope of work with due diligence and verify the data with complete responsibility. MAMTA assumes that the Agency has complete clarity and understanding of the scope and objective of the assignment. The quoted fees will be considered inclusive of all expenses including applicabletaxes. The proposal shall be valid for the period of 30 days from the last date of submission of the Proposal. The agency will be responsible for all local permissions/approvals necessary for the smooth implementation of the activities. The soft copies of the technical and financial proposals should be sent. The proposals along with a brief profile of the agency and CV of the team should be sent to the email rfp@mamtahimc.in by March 1, 2024. Application Process – All applicants (company/agency/institutional) if applicable, should follow the Government of India guidelines/policy for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) at the workplace. As part of the application process, you are required to share the status of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC). If the committee is not incorporated, then under what criteria is it not enacted? Interested agencies/organisations/individuals must submit the proposal for the case stories development, highlighting the process, portfolio of past work, financial proposal, and the timeline for the project. The technical and financial quotations should be sent in soft copy over email at rfp@mamtahimc.in by March 1, 2024 with the subject line “RFP for case stories development_Valsad”. Incomplete applications and applications received after the deadline will not be considered for the selection process. The selection team will only contact applicants who have been shortlisted for the process. Mamta HIMC has a policy of erasing all confidential information, ideas/concepts submitted in proposals/applications after the selection process is completed. "Confidentiality of Applicants" Mamta shall not be liable to share the list of shortlisted applicants with any party outside the organisation. The organization takes all necessary measures to protect the confidentiality of applicants, and shall not disclose any personal information, process and data related to the application, except as required by law.
