Application invited for Agency for Qualitative Survey on a project on Importance of Play in Early Childhood Development About MAMTA-HIMC MAMTA-Health Institute for Mother and Child is a development sector organization working in the field of health and nutrition for more than three decades. We specialize in designing and delivering interventions on maternal and child health, adolescent health, reproductive health, family planning, communicable diseases, non-communicable diseases, and nutrition. Interventions are designed to keep equity and gender at the heart of the planning process. The delivery of these interventions is done through government health systems as well as through public-private partnerships. Presently we have a number of ongoing community based nutrition interventions funded through corporate and international donors. You can visit our website for more information mamta-himc.in About the project Despite platforms and opportunities for Early Childhood development, there are significant challenges with the implementation of activities at the grassroots level. With this backdrop, MAMTA-HIMC is proposing a rapid feasibility assessment of “a model of leveraging existing infrastructure for incorporating play based development.” The goal for this intervention is that all young children (below 3 years) achieve their developmental potential. This will be enabled through factors- all children have an equitable access to health, nutrition and early learning services through ICDS and health facilities.
