Description - Connected Places Catapult (the Catapult), is the UK’s innovation accelerator for cities, transport and place leadership and they are working on Project Skyway. Project Skyway is an initiative funded by Innovate UK which seeks to create the UK’s f irst “drone superhighway.” This would allow drones to fly beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) in a controlled and regulated way, something that isn’t currently possible.To do this, a group of organisations with expertise in aviation are working together to develop and test the superhighway.
