Description - Description: The PUCTreceives and responds to PIA requests routinely. When the PUCT believes responsive information to a PIA requestis subject to an exception under Texas Government Code Chapter 552, the PUCT forwards a request for letter rulingto th e Office of the Attorney General (OAG) for review and issuance of a letterruling and/or decision. Once the OAGissues its letter ruling and/or decision, ifthe PUCT disagrees with the rulingand/or decision, the PUCT has ten (10) days from its receipt to file a petition fordeclaratory judgment in district court to preserve an affirmative defense onbehalf of its officer of public information and thirty (30) days from its receiptto file an appeal.loca
