Description - The purpose of the Battlefield Airmen Rapid Refresh and Replenishment System (BARS) program is standardization, ordering, and accountability of individual issue equipment for specialized operators, including Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) and Guardian Angel (GA). Special Tactics operators require a broad spectrum of specialized and/or unique equipment items that can be categorized as: individual equipment (e.g. clothing and protective gear), common equipment (e.g. amphibious, SCUBA, and communications), or mission equipment (e.g. medical and rescue).
