Description - Description: The large wehr Sachsenhausen is located in the northwest of the city of Oranienburg and serves there with the small weir of the stowage of the Havel to Malz. About 300 m below the large weir is the solid weir Sachsenhausen, which is also known as the sole threshold. The solid weir Sachsenhausen is part of the traffic jam system and serves to stabilize the water sole below the large weir. The big weir was built in 1892.
