Description - Description: The DVOR at Kirkwall Airport is reaching the end of its life. A DME is co-located with the DVOR. Replacement of the DVOR and associated Remote Control and Monitoring System is required. HIAL believes it will be possible to re-use some, o r all, of the existing infrastructure including the counterpoise, cabin, electrical systems and intersite connectivity.HIAL requires the capability to provide a DVOR service within the published DOC. User and technical system requirements will be defined in due course.The capability shall be delivered compliant to all applicable regulations, with minimal impact on Kirkwall Airport’s operations, by upgrading, replacing or adding to the core comp
