This document is to be read in conjunction with relevant Bill of Quantities & Tender Drawings. 2. Tender Queries, if any, to be mailed to stores@staff.ictmumbai.edu.in and sa.phule@staff.ictmumbai.edu.in within 3 days of date of this Notice. 3. Pre-bid Meeting will be scheduled before the Bid Submission. All Bidders need to attend the same. Date and Timing for the meeting will be conveyed separately. 4. Tenders to be submitted in the Tender Box near the Main entrance of ICT building within the stipulated time period. Each page to have stamp and initials of the authorised signatory. Page having grand summary to have name, designation and signature of authorised signatory and stamp of company. Tender to be enclosed in a cover clearly marked with the title “PROPOSED RENOVATIONS OF ENZYME TECHNOLOGY LAB IN DBT CENTRE BUILDING AT ICT, MUMBAI”. 5. Tender fee (non-refundable) of Rs.1000 + 18% GST in the form of Demand Draft addressed to “The Institute of Chemical Technology” to be enclosed along with the tender submission. Tenders submitted without the tender fee will be disqualified. 6. Tender to be submitted in “ Two Envelope System ” wherein the 1st sealed envelope will contain the DD for the Tender Fees and Letter of Acceptance of all Terms and Conditions, including Minutes of the Pre-Bid Meeting. The 2nd envelope will contain the Financial Bid. Both envelopes will be clearly marked accordingly. The 1st envelope containing the Tender fees and letter of acceptance will be opened first and appropriateness of its enclosures will be verified. If the same is not found to be as per requirement the Financial Bid (2nd Envelope) of that contractor will not be opened and his submission will be disqualified. 7. Tender opening date will be conveyed separately. Bidders may choose to remain present for the same. 8. Rates to be without taxes (unless specified otherwise). Tax component to be mentioned in the Grand Summary. 9. Rates to be valid for a period of 180 days from the date of opening of the financial bids. 10. Work to commence within 7 days of decision of Award of Work. Purchase order (PO) will be issued subsequently and start of work will not be linked to issue of PO. 11. Unless specified otherwise, rates to include providing, fixing, transportation, loading, unloading, optimum wastage, octroi (if applicable) and all other applicable taxes.
