Description - USAID/Senegal’s Sahel Regional Office (SRO) was established in 2013 to implement USAID’s new resilience initiative in the Sahel - Resilience in the Sahel Enhanced (RISE). The SRO Office supports transformational development to increase the resili ence of chronically vulnerable people, households, communities, and systems in targeted agropastoral and marginal agriculture livelihood zones, and to prevent violent extremism in the Sahel.
