Description - Description: The subject of the competition process is the development of a building concept for the establishment of a lookout tower on the Sophienhöhe in the Rhenish area. The central project "Natural experience Sophienhöhe" aims to further devel op the recultivated heap of the Hambacher open -cast mine into a unique natural destination. Reated up since 1978, the Sophienhöhe has grown to 20 km² by 2030 and overrides the stock market landscape by over 200 meters.
