Description - Description: The DTU intend to order a scanning electron microscope (SEM) primary to be used by students attending courses at the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering. The desired microscope is Hitachi FlexSEM 1000 II. The performance of th is microscope falls in the range between comparatively cheap tabletop SEMs and more expensive multi-purpose SEMs. The desired features are: i) Dedicated high-vacuum mode and low-vacuum mode with selectable pressures between 6 Pa and 100 Pa, suitable also for non-conducting specimens without coating; ii) Specimen size up to 80 mm; 3iii) 5-axes specimen stage; iv) Optical imaging of the entire specimen for easy navigation v) Several detectors for i
