Description - Description: This is a Special Notice of intent to procure six custom battery packs manufactured by Electrochem for use in the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center’s Seaglider SGX autonomous vehicle. The required supplies must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit, and function) with the existing Seaglider system. Battery packs are custom made to fit within the Seaglider body and provide appropriate power to maintain mission durations up to and exceeding 2 months duration.
