Description - The object of the acquisition is the process chemicals used in the manufacture of microelectronics components. The quality of the chemicals must be suitable for the production of structures less than 0.5 μm (line width).The purchased chemicals are u sed in VTT's clean room in Espoo (Micronova). Silicon, glass and thin film microsystems are manufactured in the ISO 4 class clean room intended for research and development use. VTT has around 50 research projects running simultaneously in a clean room.
