Description - Description: Charlestown Weir is part of a wider programme of European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) supported renewable energy projects across the Greater Manchester which are due to be delivered between 2021 and 2023.Planning permission and EA l icences and consents have been granted for a Hydro Electric Scheme at Charlestown and the Council now wish to deliver it.
