Description - Description History / Foundation There have been discussions and plans for nursing homes for almost 14 years. In 2020, new drawings were made for a nursing home where contact between client and architect was lost. The solution was too extensive and t he order from the Municipal Board was a downscaling. In line with national guidelines, the focus has shifted to reuse of existing buildings and co-location of services. We have conducted a mini-competition for the design of nursing home functions in existing buildings. See the attached drawing from ARK (NSW) which shows that the existing 12 rooms have physical frames that provide space for patient rooms. The furnishings from the proposal in 2020
