Description - Description: Douglas Shire Council requires replacement of the existing Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system at the Port Douglas Wastewater Treatment Plant due to a catastrophic unrepairable failure of the existing system.The new system must be opera tional by 3 February 2025.The detailed scope of work shall include, but not be limited to:• Removal and disposal of existing UV unit system.• Supply and installation of a new UV disinfection system and associated equipment, including, but not limited to power supply and control cubicle.• Modification or replacement of finger weir if required.• Provision of telemetry signal cabling for status and alarms from the UV unit control cubicle to
