Description - The Naval Air Systems Command, PMA-209 Air Combat Electronics, is conducting a market survey requesting industry information to address replacement of the current APN-194 RADAR Altimeter installed on U. S. Navy and Marine Corps aircraft.  This annou ncement constitutes a Request for Information (RFI) for planning purposes only and should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government is sponsoring this study to assess common altimeter alternatives that would enhance the current selection of radar altimeters.
