Description - Description: The KA Itzehoe has a secondary clarification tank with an internal diameter of around 35m as well as an old former secondary clarification tank with an internal diameter of around 22m. This basin has insufficient separation performance d ue to its design and construction carried out decades ago and the water depth being too shallow. The old secondary clarifier can neither be used to increase performance nor as redundancy for the large secondary clarifier I.
