Description - Description The Submarine Switchgear contract requirement encompasses all Switchboard, Load Centre and Supply cubicle (i.e. Battery and Propulsion) equipment fitted to A, T, V and Dreadnought Class boats.Submarine Switchgear is an extensive requireme nt, but generally refers to the vessels source of supply (i.e. the Generators) and the vessels users or consumers (i.e. via distribution cabinets and fuse/switch panels).
