Description - Description: OPTICAL GROUND STATIONThe introduction of an optical ground station at the center will considerably increase the scope of possible experiments in the field of quantum communication. The ability to communicate with space via optical links is the start of many possible collaborations with many different groups around the world launching a satellite with this range in mind.The possibility of collaboration opens the door to possible projects and foundations available for both quantum and classical communication with space. The presence of an 800 mm telescope is also a rare milestone in the community and will make the center of Vigo one of the few with availability of this technology
