Description - Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The United States Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration, Upper Great Plains Region (UGP) intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis Tank Heaters required for reliable oper ation of circuit breakers in cold tempratures, NAICS 335999 - from Bennett-Alvarado, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 USC 253(c) (1). Bennett-Alvarado is the sole manufacturer and owns the proprietary design of the required tank heaters that cannot be acquired from other sources.
