Description - Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE/SOLE SOURCE The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to award a single source, firm fixed price contract as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to Polar Geospatial Center/Regents of the University of Minnesota for the purchase of satellite imagery processing enhancements. The Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) is in need of services to enhance their preprocessing capabilities for high resolution satellite imagery to improve the detection of whales from space.
