Description - Norfolk County Council will be seeking to enter into a contract with a single contractor for the installation of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems at 29 fire stations across Norfolk.The Council will be seeking a contractor to provide Local Exhaust Ve ntilation (LEV) systems that will extract the exhaust emissions from within the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) fire stations / vehicle buildings emitted by the vehicles & other fuelled equipment (typically diesel fire appliances) to control exposure to individuals (and equipment/PPE) from the harmful effects of exhaust emissions.
